Towards a better development of V-optics activities, the shareholders decided 18 months ago to provide a new building to the company.
The Marly site was, indeed, becoming too small and no longer suited to our manufacturing needs.
However, by the end of 2020, we managed to assemble 6 pieces of equipment, including 5 machines to export to varied destinations such as Switzerland, the Netherlands, the USA, and China.
The packaging of our machines had to be adjusted to properly preserve the equipment in its journeys to the other side of the world. Also to be sufficiently “narrow and adjusted” to be able to pass through the narrow door we had!
These difficulties are now behind us. We left Marly for our new premises at “Illkirch Graffenstaden“.
We left Marly with the heartache of anyone who leaves their native home. At the same time, we are very happy to find ourselves in our new home. Better suited to our needs, larger, with easier access to our workspaces, a convivial public area, a test section, and a demonstration room for our products.
So, we are turning the page on 2020, and we are starting 2021 with enthusiasm in a new framework. We will be very happy to be able to welcome our customers and partners to our new premises as soon as possible.
